Event Description
The Summer Streetball Festival is back for its 14th season.
The Summer Jam Championship is the culmination of the 2026 Summer Jam Tour, where Australia's best squads will battle it out with select international teams for the ultimate glory.
Summer Jam is a celebration of basketball culture, surrounded by the best elements of a summer block party, featuring special guest appearances.
FRIDAY: The Block Party
FREE ENTRY | FAMILY FRIENDLY - Friday launches Summer Jam with peak festival elements: beer garden, outdoor screens, food trucks, opening of Maybelline Square Garden, custom merch, live music and brand activations that set the tone for the weekend.

SATURDAY: The City Battles
FAMILY FRIENDLY - Saturday brings the knockout stages. The stars come out and the block-party continues. All the summer festival elements of a beer garden, outdoor screens, opening of Jam Alley, food trucks, live music, NBA 2K, family-friendly open court and brand activations.

Location
Conditions Of Entry
The purpose of these Conditions of Entry at any and all Summer Jam Events is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all patrons and participants in the Summer Jam, including customers, artists, players, crew, contractors, and employees. You must comply with these Conditions and follow the reasonable directions of Summer Jam staff and management, as well as any signage in relation to your entry and use of the premises. We reserve the right to deny entry to or remove any person from the premises.
Your Belongings
You are responsible for the security of your own belongings while on the premises, and you must not have in your possession and/or refuse to surrender to the Summer Jam team members any prohibited items including, but not limited to:
Illicit substances
Dangerous or inappropriate items (e.g., weapons, fireworks)
Professional cameras, selfie sticks, GoPros, and iPads (personal camera phones are permitted unless otherwise advised – restrictions may apply to taking photographs or making recordings)
Glass and/or aluminium containers
Promotional material of any kind
Portable seating of any kind, tables, tents, or sun shelters (unless otherwise advised)
Umbrellas or high-visibility workwear
Your Behaviour
You are responsible for behaving in a manner that does not interfere with the safety and enjoyment of others. Specifically, you must not:
Behave in a manner that causes or may cause property damage or that threatens or may threaten the safety of players, performers, customers, or any other persons.
Behave in a manner that unreasonably interferes with other audience members' enjoyment of the premises, including through the use of cameras, mobile phones, personal computers, paging devices, or other electronic devices.
Behave in a disorderly manner, including as a result of intoxication, or display unlawful or offensive behaviour.
Behave in a rude or aggressive manner to any other person, including Summer Jam staff and volunteers.
Other Responsibilities
You must not:
Purchase or consume alcohol at or on the premises unless you are 18 years of age or older.
Enter areas of the premises not open to the public unless authorised by Summer Jam management.
Youth Policy
All patrons 16 years and above must present valid ID upon entry.
Unless expressly specified to the contrary, children under the age of 16 must at all times be under the supervision of a responsible adult (18 years of age or older) when attending Summer Jam 2026.
For children aged 16 years or older, parental discretion should be exercised regarding whether they can attend the premises, including performances, without supervision.
Only adults who are 18 years of age or older and hold a valid form of ID will be permitted into the bar areas designated as Over 18 areas. Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to access these areas.
Use of Your Image
Summer Jam attendees consent to their filming and sound recording as members of the audience. By entering the event site you agree that you may be filmed or photographed which may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Please be aware that by entering this area, you consent to your voice, name, and/or likeness being used, without compensation, in any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised, for eternity, and you release Summer Jam, its successors, sponsors, assignees and licensees from any liability whatsoever of any nature.
Do not enter this area if you do not wish to be subject to these conditions.
Right to Use Image/video footage In participating in and/or attending the Event, You give consent to and authorise Prahran Summer Jam Pty Ltd (93 629 890 295), VAM Media Pty Ltd (65 155 500 164), “Summer Jam” and any associated or related parties or authorised licensees and event Partners (“Us”,“We”,“Our”) to film, record or photograph You, your name, voice, likeness and information about You (Recordings), and to reproduce and otherwise use these Recordings in any audio, video, or photographic display, film, production or other transmission, exhibition, publication, promotion or reproduction in any medium or context for any purpose in any territory worldwide, in perpetuity without further authorisation by, or compensation or attribution to You. All Recordings are the sole property and copyright of Prahran Summer Jam Pty Ltd and You irrevocably release Us from any liability arising on account of this usage of the Recordings and You will not make any claim to prevent the use of the Recordings for any purpose or any reason. I hereby grant permission to the Summer Jam photographers/videographers the right to make and use the material.
By entering a Summer Jam or associated event or tournament, You are giving express notice that You have read, understood and will abide by the terms and conditions of entry contained herein. You hereby grant permission to the Summer Jam photographers/videographers the right to make and use the material.
Security cameras operate on the Premises and you acknowledge that you may be filmed when attending the Premises.
Tickets and Wristbands
Tickets are non refundable.
A valid ticket will be exchanged for a wristband or accreditation card/lanyard to be fitted at the designated area near the entrance to the Summer Jam and must be worn at all times. Wristbands must remain intact to gain entrance to the Summer Jam. Damage to a wristband (even if accidental) will render it invalid and access to the venue denied.
Summer Jam 2026 has limited seating, and you may be required to stand to see the basketball courts. We therefore reserve the right to ask you to stand at any time should you occupy a seat that has been or may be reserved for another patron or sponsor.
Licensed Areas
The event is an all-ages event. Anyone wishing to access licensed areas must be 18+ and show valid proof of ID. Patrons not carrying valid ID will be refused entry to the licensed areas.
Change of Date or Schedule
Summer Jam reserves the right to change the event date, venue, playing schedule, and substitute artists should it be necessary to do so. Summer Jam will use all reasonable endeavours to notify patrons of any changes. All tickets and registrations will remain valid, and refunds will not be issued. Summer Jam may at its own discretion refund patrons if the event is cancelled due to calamitous weather or in the event of a Force Majeure event.
Summer Jam Rights
We reserve the right to:
Inspect and search you and your belongings prior to entry to the premises and/or while you are on the premises.
Deny entry or remove you from the premises (without refund) if you refuse to comply with these Conditions.
By entering the Summer Jam event or associated event, you accept the above rights and consent unreservedly to Summer Jam’s Conditions of Entry.
